Cairo— Egyptian MP Tariq Radwan, Deputy Speaker of the parliament’s Foreign Relations committee, said that during his meeting with US politician Nick Ayers and Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal Speaker of the parliament, they reviewed Egypt's efforts in its war on terrorism, pointing out that, “ Egypt alone is confronting terrorism on behalf of the international community.”
In remarks during a press briefing held after the meeting on Wednesday, Abdel-Aal said that the hand of 'black terrorism' does not only target Christian Egyptians, but all Egyptians.
In an exclusive statement for Al-Bawaba News Portal, Radwan said that during the meeting, the Egyptian side brought up the issue of the US designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist group.
On his side, Ayers expressed the American agreement with the Egyptian
vision, explaining that one of the main reasons that contributed to Mr.
Trump’s victory in his presidential bid was his sincere war on terrorism
and radical groups.
Radwan also added that the meeting
highlighted the importance of the close bond in Egyptian-American relations. The

which America sees the Middle East region in general, and Egypt in
