On the targeting of Abdel Rehim Ali, International Center for Human Rights: An attempt to oppress national symbols

Cairo- Engineer Louis Lotfi Michael, President of the Montazah Cultural Development Society and President of the International Center for Human Rights, condemned the assassination attempt of MP Dr. Abdel Rehim Ali and Chairman and Editor in Chief of Al Bawaba News.

Michael assured that the failed assassination attempt will not hinder a national symbol like Dr. Ali from working towards the stability and safety of the country.  He added that this is a sign that terrorist organizations are taking their last breath with their attempts to oppress national figures and scaring them to yield their role in fighting terrorism.
