Ankara - Turkish regime deployed a new military unit to Qatar upon a request from Qatar’s Emir Tamim Bin Hamad
who enjoys good relations with both Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood, according to the Palestinian newspaper of 'Al Manar'.
The newspaper quoted an
unnamed European diplomatic source as saying the Qatari request comes to
protect the ruling regime amid fears of a potential military coup on the
emirs of the royal family. It added that Tamim had refused his father’s return to
Doha after he was transferred to a hospital in Switzerland.
The source added that
the Qatari authorities took intensive security measures to prevent any
potential attempt aiming to eliminate Tamim from power. It added that the
Qatari emir turned to his protectors in Turkey to help him.
