Solidarity Ministry: Compensations for injured of Minya attack

Cairo - A committee of the Social Solidarity Ministry, on Tuesday, paid a visit to the injured from the Minya terrorist attack who are receiving treatment a the Nasser Institute Hospital. Hospital officials briefed the ministry on the post-operative health of those injured.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry of Social Solidarity said Minister Ghada Wali coordinated with the health minister and the hospital administration to extend psychological medication to the injured. Each injured victim received a check of EGP 40,000.

As for the families who lost their loved ones in the terrorist attack, the ministry has made all necessary arrangements to distribute EGP 100,000 for each victim and allocated a pension worth EGP 1,500 for the the families of victims.

Social Solidarity Ministry Undersecretary Kamal Sherif delivered the checks to 14 of the injured who are receiving treatment at the Nasser Institute Hospital and one case at the Al Galaa Hospital.

Meanwhile, Director of the Nasser Institute Hospital said a new case of a four-year-old girl arrived at the hospital after she was moved from Udwa Hospital in Minya. The child lost her parents and one of her grandparents in the attack.
