Cairo - Chairperson of Egypt’s Conference
Party Omar Semeida criticized the calls adopted by a number of political
parties for organizing demonstrations at this critical period,
warning that such calls could raise chaos inside Egypt.
A number of political parties
clamored for staging demonstrations in protest of the
parliamentary decision to pass the maritime border demarcation agreement
upon which Egypt to hand over the Red Sea islands of Tiran and Sanafir to Saudi Arabia.
Semeida added, in a press
statement, Egypt will not afford any internal conflicts at this critical period, saying that political parties should work
together to overcome current challenges and to adopt a unified position and vision in support of the government.
