El-Sisi stresses importance of improving education quality

Cairo- President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi highlighted the importance of improving the quality of education and paying special attention to hone skills of teachers and improve their social and living conditions.

The remark was made at a meeting on Sunday with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Education Minister Tarek Shawky.

During the meeting, El-Sisi said education is one of the most important national projects that will develop the capabilities of the coming generations.

Shawky expounded an overall plan to develop the educational system and confront challenges facing the educational process, Presidential Spokesperson Alaa Youssef said in statements.

The developing of the educational system has two parallel tracks, Shawky said. The first one focuses on reviewing the secondary stage exams to cope with the higher education system, while the second track deals with developing vocational education, the minister added.
