Sufi key figure: El-Sisi supported by “Allah”

Cairo – Head of Egypt’s Sufi Reform Front said on Friday that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi enjoys the support of “Allah.”

Mohamed Abdel Khaliq Al-Shabrawy made his remarks to comment on the recent economic decisions taken by the Egyptian leader on June 29. The Sufi figure pointed out that Egyptian people should endure and have patience so that the country can avoid seditions and problems.

He added that Al-Shabrawia Order and the front back El-Sisi for his national stances that protected the country from serious dangers.

On June 29, the Egyptian government decided to hike fuel prices by nearly 50 percent to help meet the terms of the International Monetary Fund loan deal. Such price rise was sharper than expected by many Egyptian people who are struggling with soaring living costs.
