Munir underlined the importance of Sisi’s trips to Africa,
saying that these visits played restored Egypt’s leading role in Africa
and supported cooperation between Egypt and other African states in different issues. She added that President Sisi managed to strengthen
political and economic partnership between Egypt and African states during the
latest years.
The statements come two days before a tour scheduled to be held by
Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi to a number of African states on Monday,
including Tanzania, Rwanda, Gabon and Chad.
Munir added that Egypt’s president is keen to strengthen
relations with all African states, especially Nile Basin countries, expressing
her appreciation to the efforts exerted by Sisi to contain the current
differences with Ethiopia over the building of Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam.
