Cairo - The
official website of the Islamic Research Academy has received approximately 38,000 questions on different issues in just two years, with 14,000 questions in
2015 and 24,000 questions from 2016 to April 2017, Dr. Mohieddin Afifi,
Secretary General of the Islamic research academy, confirmed.
The
questions were answered through the main Fatwa Committee of the Al-Azhar institute, and responses were issued through the website.
Afifi added that
the questions differed in terms of their themes, from acts of worship to transactions and personal circumstances. Questions on family and personal status
topped the most asked questions, especially those pertaining to divorce.
