Minister: Investment in education is best for Egypt

Cairo – Egyptian minister of social solidarity said on Monday that investment in education is the most important and best investment for Egypt. 

Ghada Wali highlighted that the concerned educational institutions give opportunity for top students to study in the world’s best universities. 

She told Masrawy that the cost of study in American, French and British universities is very high and can not be afforded by Egyptian families. The minister pointed out that if the investment of major institutions, such as Qalaa Holdings for scholarships, would bear the cost of sending students to such universities on the condition that students return to serve their country, this would the best strategy for Egypt’s future. 

She explained that if students study abroad, they will think better and become open-minded to serve Egypt by learning about and using state-of-the-art educational technologies upon their return.

Wali sent a message to youth studying abroad, noting that they should seize that opportunity to understand the traditions of people, their culture and how society values them in order to share that experience in Egypt.
