San Francisco - The Arabic-language account of Al Jazeera has been restored on Twitter after being suspended on Saturday due to its violation of publication laws and supporting of terrorist groups.
The suspension decision caused the Qatari media network to lose over 12 million followers.
Following its complete restoration, followers of Al Jazeera Arabic account started to rise slowly, exceeding 20,000.
The television channel has long been a target for criticism by other Middle East countries, with Al-Jazeera banned on several occasions.
All diplomatic ties with Doha were cut on June 5 by several countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, which accuse Qatar of supporting and funding terrorist groups.
