Egypt's PM: Government seeks highest degree of financial discipline

Cairo - Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Tuesday that the government is working through the economic and social reform program to achieve the highest degree of financial discipline via upgrading the government's performance.
In press statements, he added that the government's program is also seeking to reduce the budget deficit to less than 10 percent.
The government is also working to control the general debt and increase the treasury resources, he pointed out.
The prime minister underlined that the government is exerting efforts for creating an environment that offers incentives to the private sector and supports small and medium sized projects.
