The organization said, in a statement, “During the recent
two years, 1675 children have been recruited in Yemen.” It published a video
footage containing a testimony of a Yemeni child recruited in the fight going on in the country.
The child said that a friend of his was crushed to death in the fight, while the child has not mentioned whether he was fighting with
the Houthi rebels or the government-sanctioned troops loyal to the legitimate regime.
The child also added: “They gave
us weapons; and then we took to the fronts and received training in how to use them.” He pointed out that he suffers from psychological trauma since a number of his colleagues and friends were succumbed to death during the war.
